    2 stroke powered compressor

Have you ever seen the two cylinder model? They apparently did back in about 1967. Guy's took the ROTAX motor, hopped it up and installed it in a Ski Doo to win numerous championship. I would love to find one to build a clone!

    2 stroke powered compressor

Back in the day WAJAX sold small 2 stroke powered Water pumps for wild fire fighting. They put out some serious water pressure from a 1.5 inch hose. If it works there should also work for a compressor?

    Rockwell Wood/Metal Bandsaw

As I noted in my post some of the bearings are hard to find. There is one on the main shaft that is grooved and has a snap ring. They are still being manufactured but no one seems to stock them. I had to buy a minimum of 4 to get the one I needed. In the Rockwell manual diagrams it is #158. Part...

    Sand Blast Cabinet For Sale

I have a vintage Sand Blast Cabinet that I acquired a while back. I tested it out and it works fine but I have never used it. It's a little much for my little compressor. Time to make space for something else. Includes foot valve and two pairs of new gloves. I'd like $200 for it. Located in...

    Milling machine working height?

Ahhhhh! Not just now. Maybe when I get really old and move to smaller quarters! Haha!

    Milling machine working height?

I had never thought about it before, but the advantage to a mill with a fixed table as opposed to a knee. You can put the table at a height that's comfortable and it's always at that height.

    Milling machine working height?

I have some bad disks in my back and any kind of stooping is painful. I raised both my mill and my lathe. The lathe about 3 inches and the mill about 6. With the knee raised almost to the top it places the vice at my shoulder level. I don't find it too high. My only regret is that I didn't do it...
