The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. Cast Bronze Plaques

Since I dug it up yesterday, and MST are great, here’s a finial they cast for us (my day job), to replace a missing one outside at Queen’s Park. Two identical fixtures hang on the east and west sides of the building. Couldn’t get the one existing finial off the bottom of the fixture, but...

    Cast Bronze Plaques

The same folks that own SSC own MST Bronze. :) Myros is a great guy, and was behind Metalcraft magazine back in the early 2000’s, if anyone remembers that. They do sand casting, as well as ceramic shell. Maybe other stuff?

Meuser lathe, $13,500, Prince Edward, ON

I'll send that one to a friend and former co-worker, she moved to Prince Edward County to help run her Dad's wood shop. I think her metal shop in there is about 15' x 15', maybe if she put it diagonally...?

Welcome to Westwood Metalworks, What is he building in there?

Yes, that's where I'm at with trying to get my lathe running. Should have started at the beginning. Or maybe just a general 'What Stuart did' thread? I certainly take photos at work and think 'I should post that, somebody might find it useful', and then... time passes.
