Machining Vises & Chucks - Online Auction, Brampton, ON

I’d made a list of what caught my eye, with bids listed including premium and tax. 15% isn’t too bad, but if it was one of the ‘25%, all prices in USD’ auctions, I can see how there could be some shock, when you got the invoice. I followed along with the ‘live auction’ briefly, but couldn’t...

Cool Tools in your home shop that you'd not likely not see in someone else's?

I brought this in to work recently, but it generally lives at home. Came in the first toolbox I bought, owned by one Gerard McGeachy. Maybe everyone else knows about them? Called a Line of Chords ruler. This one’s a Chesterman. Folding 24” ruler… that has an angle scale along one edge, as...

Machining Vises & Chucks - Online Auction, Brampton, ON

This, without irony. I'd rather see something go to a person who has $100 to throw at something they need desperately than spend $400 on something I'd like idly.

Machining Vises & Chucks - Online Auction, Brampton, ON

I don't think I have time to drive things around the province in the near future, but I can certainly offer pick-up at work or home (both Etobicoke, bottom of the 427), most any waking hours. Work van's a 2010 Ford E350 XLT Super Duty, so I could probably cram a good bit of the auction in there. :)

Machining Vises & Chucks - Online Auction, Brampton, ON

Again, I'm free for most of Saturday, and don't mind picking things up, assuming the buyer can designate someone who isn't, say, carrying the credit card associated. If needed, I can borrow the van from work.

Machining Vises & Chucks - Online Auction, Brampton, ON

Over a dozen, which is to say, ~four dozen. :p I've had a brief look at the auction, and while there's nothing I can't live without, it's pretty solid. I appreciate the reasonable buyer's premium, and conducting the auction in the currency of the country it's ____ing held in. Guess the...

PTD Silver & Deming drill set, $25, Lambton Shores, ON

I’ll have to keep an eye out for that Mac Tools set!

‘Granite measuring table’, $150, Windsor, ON

It’s down to $100! Come on, surely someone wants this for all their ‘dropping on toes’, ‘hurting their back lifting it’ needs??
