The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. That same mill with a bonus RT went for $9300 in a 2021 local auction, taxes/fees in. That was expensive then!

WTB milling machine, but with a budget

Welcome to the forum! I'm in Salmon Arm, heads up, there aren't many mills that come up in the Okanagan, especially at a decent price. Keep an eye out for the Lower Mainland area of Marketplace for reasonably priced mills, even they will be over your budget.

Tool Angle grinders. Most dangerous tool in the shop?

About 20 years ago I was passing through the ER dept and there was a Pt laying in a bed with a 3-4" open gaping wound to the abdomen, I asked what the heck happened and Pt was telling me that a grinding disk broke and got them in the belly. Luckily it only went only as deep as the muscle, any...
