    Best place for gas?

So if you were going to buy a used tank and they were all the same price you couldn't care less about buying rustiest shittiest most beat up one in the group? I paid almost double kms price for mine. If I want to upgrade to larger unit I feel I would have more success selling a brand new...

    Best place for gas?

I can relate. Paid mega bucks for 110 cu ft tank from air liquide. Now needs hydro to be filled. They will direct exchange and absorb hydro costs, but mine is like brand new. What a decision haha.

    Best place for gas?

I've had as low as 1450 psi fill on 250 cu ft tank at kms. That's a lot of missing gas. They said bring it back and they would top it up as they guarantee 1750 if dropped off there overnight. I take gauge now and check to save myself the extra round trip(s). A fire safety place hydro'd my 80 cu...

    Best place for gas?

KMS had best prices on new tanks when I bought mine. (on sale) They fill from other bottles so my 250 cu ft always quite a bit lower psi than from the big guys even when leaving it there overnight. New tank is good for ten year from date of manufacture, used is 5 year between recertification...

Thanks, seems like the prices of everything used for sale in Greater Vancouver area are highest in North America? A lot of it worn out junk with same price as new. Basically save the tax. If the word rare appears in ad just forget it. Better deal to buy new. Ag or construction equipment is right...

    First Welder - Yes Welder???

Whichever you choose I would encourage try before you buy. Maybe your tig welds will look like phaxtris', mine not so much, especially thin aluminum and stainless. Didn't really have a place or need for tig home use, everything done outdoors due to fire hazard. Removed my torch and put stinger...

    First Welder - Yes Welder???

Ask me how I know  After 6 bend test failures in a row I asked instructor wtf was going on? Others were having same issue. He said they got a big laugh out of leaving gmaw section to last when everyone thought they were welders. 7018 and dual shield never bit me in the ass like that haha.
