    Just building something similar. I'm placing mine from pump to tank, that way the less water gets into the tank to start. So pump, cooler, tank, course air/water seperator, 6L desiccant absorber, fine air water seperator, pressure regulator, airlines......tools.

    These have to take high loading, have a predictable spring rate, and handle impacts. So I would suspect a forged spring steel. Carbide and cooling.

    OMG!!!! @Susquatch @PeterT learn to read "proper engagement" just that it there. I've never broken one or had to adjust mine. It is there should your threads be tight so that you can loosen or tighten your holder not to act as a driver.
