Thanks, I’ve chopped lots of extruded aluminum on a chop saw with a regular carbide tipped blade, I don’t think I want to use the bandsaw, I’ll probably mill a slot on both sides and then cut the glass.
Awesome, thanks fellas, I think I’m going to do a test cut not to length to get a feel for it first. It’s for a bench top mill , so there’s plenty to play with.
Hey Tom, did you ever post anything on shortening your dro? I can’t find anything. I just had some arrive from “Chinaexpess” and they were supposed to be cut to length, of course they’re not. Just curious how you did it, there’s a lot of videos of Yardbirds out there with pretty crude skill...
Yes, I have done quite a bit of ice racing back in the day, like dirt track and speedway it really teaches throttle control! All that sideways action is a lot of fun.
Thanks @CWret, I’ll ride anything with two wheels, I’m on the road and the dirt, single track enduro etc, I’ve been threatening lately to go vintage road racing, so many toys, so little time! lol
