Is it just me or is milling something flat actually one of the most difficult things in the machining world to do?

So I have returned from my crusade gentlemen and I have much to share..... I’m guessing that mist if you will know already what I am about to share but think of it as you would watching a child learning to count to 100 or perhaps the ABC’s..... just smile and nod. Rule #1. When you face...

Is it just me or is milling something flat actually one of the most difficult things in the machining world to do?

Good morning guys. The lock on the knee is tight. Because I am milling with the X it can’t be locked. The y seems irrelevant but will try it to see. When the guy comes to the door you tell him to hold onto the package and that you ate going to self broker. Usually they have the commercial invoice right on the box. If he/she/they are “good people” then they will give you that invoice. If not get as much info as you can. I usually snap a few...

    Who Wants a Shaper?

They are three Wilesco “all brass” live steam traction engines. My moms boss had the identical 2 of the 3. When I was a kid we got to go to his house for the company Christmas party and he’d fire them so that my brother Trevor and I could see them go. Fast forward to 2004 I found all three on...

    Who Wants a Shaper?

If I let common sense get in the way of my judgement (when it comes to machines and shop stuff) I wouldn’t have anywhere near the cool stuff that I do...... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
