    I think you meant to say the limitation is ‘wall thickness’. That parting tool should be good to do as large as you can ‘Chuck Up’.

    I have found that Asian Manufacturers (even if they have a British Sales office) refer to machines as ‘Hobby’ . . . based on the small size of the machining window. Terminology varies across different cultures.
