    Which Alumilite were you using. Mine mixes by weight , not volume. And it does make a huge difference.

    That is a very cool cabochon. I’ve kept meaning to try a UV resin for thin castings. I make larger, 3/4” rod, castings with Alumilite Clear Slow. It absolutely hates moisture and requires a pressure pot. It only has an open time of 12-15 minutes, but it does take a few days to reach full cure...
