    They measure pretty flat. Checked with a engine Precision straight edge and my smallest feeler gauge.

    hey guys thanks for all the info my head is flat and within factory spec so I only need to worry about the manifold. I got some granite pieces and also have some extra anyone needs a piece let me know I figure I'm gonna start with 60 grit then 80 then finish 120 grit.

    So I went on Kijiji looking for some granite pieces i went all the way down to Okotokes, the guy wanted me to take all I only needed a few pieces to do some flat sanding I guess you can call it lapping I have about 6 pieces anyone need a piece let me know FREE

    I didn’t do the bucket mod. But I do like the idea of all the junk sitting to be bottom. Maybe even use a pickup hose on a Floating buoy so it sucks the cleaner fluid from the top

    What nobody here has a mill at home? I still would prefer to keep this within the hobbies community. but yeah Cast iron a much harder material than aluminum
