Jer Schmidt the YT designer/creator. I think he decided that after trying a 3 hp motor and switched to a 5 hp VFD controlled. They can remove huge amounts of steel very fast, more so than a bench grinder which I can bog down with ease.

Check motor size requirements. IIRC Jer recommends 5 hp.

Depends what it comes with, don't see extra chucks or a tool post but there are boxes and a collet chuck. Oooo and a tailstock too !

Two things, and yes I get the idea here. First, that part screams fiberglass. Second, try and get the exit of the cooler as far from the firewall as you can. Longer standoffs, different angle, whatever. If you can't get the hot air out then you can't get the cool air in.

Next project is to Ponky proof the truck. Her latest trickery or treachery, is she has learned to open the truck doors. Last thing we need is her to come looking for us in Canadian Tire with the rest of the pack in tow.

Obviously distracted by the car, no comments about all the clear floor space.

Sorta getting back to the original post, sorta, kinda, well not really. We had a family reunion yesterday. We had 12 of our puppies from three litters all get together. The youngest are seven months old now and for the most part hadn't met their older siblings. Balls and toys flying everywhere...
