    I installed one on my CX706. I used what I had (leftovers for the scales). I'm just using the touchscreen that I'm using for LinuxCNC for the display. I think once you have used a DRO on any machine operating one without is just a PITA in need of an upgrade.

    Run a 3P motor from single phase power - cheapest/simplest solution just use a VFD Get single phase power from three phase power, just connect the single phase load.
