That’s exactly the thing but it’s not the courier at fault (except for the cost of their fees), it’s the vendor that won’t do the import paperwork, collect the tax and hand it over to the government. If they did then the couriers could do what they do best - transport the goods. Digikey, MCM...

With apologies for the side track: I did an order recently under my business name. When I was setting up my account (basically a MCM login) I gave them the business name but no business number etc. and it went fine. I think there’s another thread where people have made up a business name...
