    PEX hangers

Just to be curious, what’s the problem with the one nail mounts? I hung my lines with them 15 - 16 years ago and they’re all still there. D

LOL, ya gotta learn to choose your projects or you’ll wind up with 42^3 in the hopper and no space to work on them. ;) D

Two standard Modern Lathes - $1300 - Lindsay, On

When I was looking for info Racer wasn’t much help but the support gent at Leblond was happy to look up the info and chat about the lathes. They cleared out a bunch of old part stock but still keep some parts that have some turnover. D

Two standard Modern Lathes - $1300 - Lindsay, On

I have an 1120 Series 2000 and your tailstock looks a lot like they used the same upper portion and made the base part thicker to suit the 13” version. I’m guessing that you could thin it down in your spare time while you’re dealing with the gear issue. ;) D

    Another Lathe...

In the lighter weight class a Myford is a good entry point. They’re UK made (watch out for clones) and parts are still available which you cannot say about a re-badged Chinese machine. Call King and ask about sourcing repair parts. The Myfords are well made/British craftsmanship and full...

You and @whydontu are trying to put me in the poorhouse LOL! Already too many tools to play with and too many projects, how can I get anything finished? What I need is a friend with an US cleaner! D

    Disassembling a Rohm Chuck?

LOL! You underestimate Ms. Tecnico at your peril! We're planning a cross country trip when she hangs it up and you might have to explain the logic to her in person if we drop in on the way by. ;) You know I've thought a few times about an US cleaner, including when I was dip tanking all 4...
