    It wasn't too hard actually. I custom ground a HSS parting tool and took it slow. The face of the pinions gets a bit burred up but they need facing/full length sizing anyway so they get flipped in a soft jaw chuck for the second side operations.

    Thanks Darrin. I think if you do try the UV resin it will require a longer time under UV then normal due to the thickness, clear tubes will be obvious as well. I think it might solve some of your issues regarding hardness when cured. This stuff becomes very hard and machines well.

    Once assembled I'd say the hardest part was trying to understand why it wouldn't run! Sure it would start up but stop after a few beats. Circling back to the beginning were no one was willing to share the information I needed to understand the working of the movement I had to systematically go...
