    Sounds like you mounted it in the vise on the bored/larger section causing it to collapse and not the smaller diameter section?

    Should be an easy job to machine an arbor. I did that with my boring head. Came with the taper and machined up an R8 to fit.

    I bought a 10” vertex rotary table (almost new) and a few other odds and ends. Not a steal but it was still a good deal. The guys shop is huge and absolutely full of stuff. You could barely move. I could have spent a weekend there just nosing around. Nice guy. Right by the big Apple too.

    WTS Glacern R8 3" Facemill and ER Collet Chuck w/ Collets

    Just received yesterday. Arbor and collets look great. Really well made. Bearing and standard nut thread up buttery smooth. Ran some indicator tests on some end mills and so far so good. Thanks Phaneron
