There's one other problem, with so much steel and iron concentrated so close together, it's creating a gravity well and warping time and space.

I filled the oiling reservoir with winter weight chainsaw oil and pumped up the system until all the lines were full, leaks from every seal. So now I think I'll have to get rid of all the push in connectors and go with proper brass ferrules and a compression nut and a sleeve.
