I had never heard of "Canadian bacon" before I went to the USA. I had never heard of pea meal bacon until I worked in Sault Saint Marie a few years ago.

Can you post a screenshot of what you consider complex sketch geometries? I have never had fusion crash on either of my computers. One is at least 12 years old and the other is 3. New computer has 32 gb of ram old one has 8gb. Sounds like you may have a bad RAM stick.
Another issue with places like Amazon is you really don't know what you are getting. A friend of mine owned a boat shop and was purchasing a lot of hardware from a well known marine supplier. A university asked him if he was interested in participating in a corrosion study in the marine...
KBC tools and/or Travers tool Canada sells them. They list them as price each but I seem to recall having to buy them by the package. Prices were good but it's been a while. I buy almost any hardware by the box.
Around here the yellow on the tailstock usually means it was government owned at some point.
