Trying to track down a SSR (Solid State Relay)

Sounds like its is too late now but the last time I was at active components on 32nd. NE, they had a small selection of SSR. That spec you are looking for sounds pretty common so I wouldn't be surprised if they had one in stock. Another place is B&E Electronics.

    Dovetail Cutter

Hey Peter! Yes that was Randy Richard and that is where I got the inspiration. He sells them for $95 USD! Mine was definitely louder through the cut compared to his and those bolts that he was using were very hard. I figure I may be getting a bit of flex so I thought I would try some harder...

    Power Feed

I'm very interested in the power feed. You interested in trade plus cash? I have some 5" 4140 and some 5" other mild steel (not 100% sure the grade but I think it may be 1045 or something similar). The 5" steel is great for making back plates, and ER Collet holders, not to mention other...

    Lathe and Mill Tooling

To do the R8 taper, I put a R8 collet in the 4 jaw, indicated it to like a few tenths and then used a dial test indicator in the tool post to get the exact angle that the compound needs to be rotated. You can just run up and down the taper until the DTI stays on zero for the length of the...
