Balloon in the sky with diamonds ?

I couldn't make out the title on it since I've never studied the Chinese dialect. It wasn't spotted in the U.S only thou, it made its way to this side of the pond as well. Was it grade 3 when the teachers would tell us to be kind to each other, treat our planet with respect, because its the air...

    Tips/Techniques Multi-vise Setup

@Degen, Do you have the vices that close for a particular job that runs more constant than others or is this your preferred (new) way of milling in vises ? How do you like that set up ? Craftex milling machine cx650

Anyone know if these little buggers can push a 1" fly cutter, 4 effective indexable, a good chip breaker insert, with a .03 DOC after the plastic gears are removed ? What about a 1/2" -5/8 4 flute carbide endmill with a .05 DOC? Material would be mostly 1018 with the odd block of 4140. Mostly...

Tool The sphincter of the machining world

I wouldn't worry about .001 at all on the mill. Especially with HSS tooling. Even if you were finishing a roughed out pocket on the mill, you would want to be using gauge blocks to achieve your final size. The true test would be how much taper you would see on the walls with the cheaper collets...
