sounds like I got a good lathe to start out with (or at least I am in with good company). It will be a bit before I am done with all the cleaning and maintenance aka getting it running again, but I am excited to start making chips.

I am going to have to follow what you post than whydontu, as I am also in the Vancouver area. I always look at the great old English mills on the store.lathes.co.uk and dream about shipping one over (although not practical). Would love to get a solid old mill, small but built like a tank.
