Stanko radial arm drill, Chatham, ON

I have the much smaller version of this, 3' arm vs. 6' They are difficult to move. Like very difficult. They also require specific large projects to be of use. This one is in better shape than mine - mine has the box - but the previous owner drilled like 100 holes into that box (!!!). I have...

    Radial Arm Drill Press

I will be selling one Arboga soon as I have two. My baby radial is over 2000 lbs, I am quite sure of that - especially if one counts the box under it. It is like 900mm arm length. I am a bit struggling finding projects suitable for it - I need something that is too big for the mill to handle...

Metal cutting lathe, $4000, White City, SK

Is it me or the guy has in the tailstock two drill chucks, one in the other? And the 2nd one does not seem to be much smaller than the first... strange! Does not appear to be a tap attachment.

Clausing 12 x 36” metal lathe with accessories Reduced, $975, Kelfield, SK

Not sure about the shape but for a bit more than a new mini lathe you are getting equipment that is not only larger but also is not just like 100 million others have.

    Radial Arm Drill Press

I have a baby radial. It does not have the cool factor of all the exposed gears ;(

Chucking reamer set, $200, Whitby, ON

Oh there are other brands, but about same price and look the same. I am sure you can get it maybe for $200 - just would require far more looking.

    Stuart’s big dumb lathe

If you were in Calgary I would have most of what you seek.

Dividing head for milling machine, $380, Scarborough, ON

Feels expensive for ON, this one is rather rusty and in ON you can probably get entire K&T for $1000 in not so good condition. I got this dividing head with my K&T.

Chucking reamer set, $200, Whitby, ON

Feels expensive. Same brand new set is $300 with taxes and shipping. Maybe less if you look hard.

8" vise made by JET, $200, Edmonton, AB

I think they are less new or at most close to this price.

    Colchester Chipmaster

Well, I have a working and functional chipmaster. You would need to provide more pictures to figure out what it is worth and also where it is located.

Lathe Quick Change Tool Post.9"-12".Forged, $320, Calgary, AB

More than equivalent set by any other brand, when new!

    Tool Drill Doctor Experience

That was probably M2 - M1 is difficult to make a split point. Yeah I have to re-read instructions each time I use it. Frequently, I just sharpen by hand on a grinder as it is much faster. Heck, M1 has a grinder wheel on the left - I just use that ;) It is 120v - I guess I could bring it to the...

    Tool Drill Doctor Experience

I used to have 750 but sold it - got a super old Darex M1. Main problem with 750 or similar is their luck of power when working on larger bits. It takes a long time to do a good job. I think it is intentional - it is to keep them away from much more expensive professional stuff.

    ah, I see, a competitor!
