Nice! We are going to be completely redesign this setup this winter so we have just been fixing them as they go. We build custom farm machinery as well!

Wrapped it all in Welding blankets, only leaving the weld joint exposed.

It’s been a few years since I ran a lathe! (18 to be exact lol)

I picked up the darbert 1340G today and it’s it a really nice lathe! Had a couple minutes to do some quick machining to repair a carrot harvester plow adjuster.

Super cool piece of equipment! I would definitely scoop that up if I wasn’t in Ontario!

My apologies, I have never posted anything on a forum before. My shop is in the Holland Marsh Ontario. I am tripple trade, automotive service technician, heavy equipment mechanic and a welder. Now I’m going to be trying my hand at machining my own parts! It gets costly to send them out weekly.

I will definitely enjoy it, it will get lots of use at the shop!

I did not measure it but it looked a bit larger than 1.5 possibly 1 7/8.

I just went and bought it.

It is a really nice lathe, everything is tight on it, comes with lots of tooling, steady and follow rest, and even a vfd with 220v plug. Ready to go.
