    SM change gears - Imperial 1120 for metric gears

    Great Post I am definitely going to follow. I just got a SM Series 2000 13x30. its a bit of a fixer-upper. but once I got it running I definitely would like to be able to cut metric. I do have a 3d printer so if any one has .STL file I would definitely be interested too.

    with the gear box I can feel it snap into the 3 positions ABC. But yes I do want to pull it apart to check those parts as well. and now i guess when I pull it apart I'll clean the grease off the use SAE 30 oil yea I agree on that the manual is really doesn't make it clear on that. I,ll post...

    With the gear box I can feel it snap into the 3 positions ABC. I did try to pull the ABC shifter apart and got stuck with the pin that holds the lever block to the shift fork post that goes through the case. I did try to punch it out but ill have to get a better punch and try again. I do believe...

    Hey Tecnico, So it sounds like you went to view the fixer-upper? I did end up getting it and with the gear box it seems that it must have gotten shifted at to high of speeds and got jammed in 2 gears, Also noticed the shift fork isnt in the slot as well . i did take it apart and clean it up...
