  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

    here she is! got it moved into place and shop cleaned up a bit. itll suit my needs much better than the wee one. bitter sweet - didnt realize this was belt driven until i go there. not a make or break it obviously. just sucks. super tight. the auto cross feed is super nice and will get used a lot.

    the locks i'm talking about are these jam nuts. if i loosen them the handle spins super freely and as soon as i make a cut itll back off. with the nuts loose i can adjust those dials to read 0 once i touch the material but with the jam nuts tight i cannot move the dial. 2nd. the oiler i got...

    Everyone loves pictures! :) i'm in tillsonburg. ah ok. my first pass they were loose and when i made a cut the dial slowly rolled back. so i tightened it a bit so the dial stayed where it was. i'll play around with it some more and post pics/vids when i have a chance.
