  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Cincinnati No 2 Cutter Grinder Restoration

The balls and cages were removed, wood placed onto the ways and the table were strapped down for transport. Unfortunately, sometime in the past it looks like the first one I’ve started cleaning wasn’t done this way. I can see round dimples in the flat way of the table where the balls have (I...

Cincinnati No 2 Cutter Grinder Restoration

I think TonyK was after the belt. My motor is hard wired 400/440 volt in star configuration. It’s cheaper to buy a new motor than to get a motor rewinder to chase the windings to get 240v delta.

Cincinnati No 2 Cutter Grinder Restoration

Hi Brent, I won’t have the grinder in my possession for a few more weeks. My first priority will be to strip the whole machine down and inspect all the components. It is currently wired for 3 Phase but I only have single phase 240v so I will be re wiring the machine to run off a VFD. This will...
