Reliance DC motor. Permanent magnet field, 3/4" shaft. Made as face mount, but I used it with a wooden cradle (not available) and it worked well. Great low end torque. Used it with a vintage Rivett lathe I sold some years ago. Weighs about 50 lbs. Just two wires to connect to the power supply...

I have a parting tool holder, but it may be too big for your machine the shank is .97 tall and .38 thick. You can have it for whatever Canada Post would charge for me to mail it.

    Strange but wonderful tool

Enjoyed similar ensemble. I usually played soprano or alto, and occasionally base. I have several recorders of all sizes I am trying to flog to the local recorder society with little success.

Derbyshire 10mm Instrument makers lathe. Well equipped. - $3000

Yup, I understand your sentiment. I bought it for love and ended up using it well to make parts for gas chromatography valves. Paid for itself, so I can afford to be flexible on price if I can find a buyer. Pretty specialized tool though.

    Strange but wonderful tool

The real credit belongs to the microtome. I just modified it to do the job I needed. The recorder headjoint shown is one of mine though. Made of one of the delbergia species. (Rosewoods)
