    Creality K2 Plus CFS Combo

With the big 3d printer companies all trying to out SALE each other over bambu labs 3rd year anniversary. I picked up a Creality K2 Plus CFS combo. I looked at a couple of different printers and decided to take this one. It can print as big, prints in 4 colors expandable to 16 and its fast. I...

    Machine Induction forge failure

You can separate wires with Ty wraps. Lightly run a tywrap around the two wires then run one around the first tywrap between the wires. I’ve even done this with ignition wires it works as a continuous separation in the wire run. Do it every so many inches to maintain the distance. It’s...

    Lost foam aluminium casting issues

I just got the same set that Peter posted as well for 10 bucks you can’t go wrong. The larger ones have a good weight to them. The small wood hand set seem really small but I think they are gonna work good for working on my cosplay stuff,

J.mac where are you located? There is a big auction coming up in Edmonton for moderns Alberta stores closing and they have many new units. Might be a deal to watch for. Also auctions can be a mess. I have seen people pay more then retail for things at auctions. If your down east keep a good look...

    Lost foam aluminium casting issues

I have not tried it yet. But it makes a lot of sense. Styrofoam cup makes a perfect pouring cup when its down in the sand. I've used a coffee can with both ends cut out for years to act as the pouring bowl. With the foam gate just above the height of the sand and try to pour as close to center...

    Spade connector question

On the stakon ones only the wire insulation end is shrinkable. You can see the line where the heat shrink ends. The connection ends don't shrink unless you really hit them with the heat gun, which is not what you want. I switched over to using Deutsch style connectors and weather pack years ago...

    Spade connector question

You have the correct female spade but not the insulated male. The insulated male actually goes all the way around the female. So you have half of the correct set. It’s very common in the more cost effective sets to have that issue. You can see the correct ones in the stakon catalog. Page B38...
