You would likely be making some significant adaptor plates to account for the different frame size, and also a shaft adaptor of some sort to go from the obviously much larger shaft to a smaller one.
Then you would need to figure everything out with the electrics as far as a drive, fusing...

It seems like a very high quality fixture, designed for more and harder use then I can imagine it will get with me.
Everything is cast iron. The bearing surfaces are all precision ground. There is even evidence of heat...
Mine has 3.5”, however, there is a large adjustment range on the bracket that attaches the cross slide to the taper attachment…. Called the draw plate. See pic….
I have to disconnect my cross slide lead screw nut when using the taper attachment. That’s the larger socket hex head bolt in the diagram in the center of the cross slide.
