Now the Colchester has a Mini Me

I'm still trying to figure out model and age. with Myford buying them out a bunch of records were tossed. The original motor has a 1960 date on it. another forum is attempting to record serial numbers and correlate dates

Now the Colchester has a Mini Me

I will check again, but I think the ways are flat bar with blind holes drilled in the underside and bolted to the bed, at which point they were ground in place to true up .

If you could own just one special vehicle what would it look like?

That is an excellent way to describe them, I'm not hating on them, but the few times i was subjected to them it was for decidedly not off road things

If you could own just one special vehicle what would it look like?

I don't hold a high opinion of jeeps for anything but their offroad capabilities. IMO its a shame they didn't do much else well, not counting the war time versions, they were excellent at what they were designed for. I would pit the 6x6 Tatra against most challengers. The drive system is neat...

If you could own just one special vehicle what would it look like?

I assume they are like hummers on the highway, an exercise in patience and absorbing a terrible ride, but they really do excellent at off road.I think my choices are all about being able to go wherever I want.

If you could own just one special vehicle what would it look like?

well, that is a loaded question. For the longest time it was a 72 Mach 1 with the louvers, but then my tastes got weird.... its a toss up between a home built X-114 ( it counts as a boat :D ) or a Tatra 814-7 which would make a hell of a camper as long as I could resist not turning it...

Solidworks for Makers @ CAD30.00 per year

Aye I have to agree, I've run it on a i7 960 from 14 years ago, 25gb ram and it was good for single part projects of varying complexity. But that was a 2022 full install. Ymmv
