    WTB Schaublin 53 accessories

Looking for schaublin brand accessories for a 53 milling machine. Specifically a rotary table and dividing head. But am interested in the other accessories also. Also would be interested in buying spare parts if anyone has some laying around they want to get rid of. Thanks

    Milling machine electrical question

heres the ”80” All the other numbers im assuming are voltage. The vfd was a techtop. The motor is a 4hp 550/320v 3 phase. When trying to run it it got very hot and made a loud buzzing noise. I was told that the motor was too old and not vfd rated. The other motor is a 1-1/2hp, made a loud buzz...

    Milling machine electrical question

The motors are 575/320v. I tried running them off a vfd. The large motors didn’t like if very much, the coolant pump ran off it fine. So i had to purchase 2 new motors. I also wanted to use the original switches. So I decided to just go single phase. I dont have the room for a RPC and...

    Milling machine electrical question

Im finishing up converting my milling machine to single phase and was wondering if anyone can explain this part of the original wiring diagram. Thanks. It is a schaublin mill. To me it seems like they are feeding 2 legs of the rapid motor with 80v DC? If this is true why would they do that? Or...

Using a 3 phase overload relay on single phase

I made a plan. Priced it out three ways. Rotary phase converter and transformer, vfd’s and new motors, or single phase. All prices were about the same. I chose single phase because i wanted it all the electronic, etc inside the mill. I dont have alot of space. I have 240v in the garage. You...

Using a 3 phase overload relay on single phase

The unit runs contactors after the overload relay. 3 in total. I was trying to avoid buying motor circuit breakers to go along with the contactors and heaters. I thought if i used this switch it would allow the conversion to be a little easier
