My Christmas present arrived today, a Vevor 3B drill bit sharpener.

I read plenty of reviews and watched YouTube videos of owners testing them out. This makes my Drill Doctor look like a stone axe. This machine is amazing! It’s easy to use, comes with collets for 2 to 13mm. I sharpened over 80 dull bits from 3 to 13mm today and tested a couple finished bits on mild steel, love it!

Very good build quality, the only difference I can see between the A and B model is the B comes with two grinding discs, the second being a diamond faced disc.

The B model has 4 point angle options, the A model only has 2.

Integrating ER type collets into the toolholder is smart. And integrated lip relief makes it very useful. I think dedicated drill grinders are the way to go. (Well, there's that $$ thing but you know what I mean).

Looks decent.

The only one star review on Vevor's site is about there not being a fan in it.

@canuck750 - if you open the side cover is there a fan? Does it matter, maybe not but the reviewer got $150 back after insisting on an RMA.

Regardless I think I'll still order one, gotta be better than the DD.

We do what we're good at , lol.
I see Accusize has similar machines at 3 times the price. If you (we) talk your brother into buying the Accusize machine the rest of us will know if it's worth the extra money. ;)
No a chance in hell.

I saw the accusize machine and lamented I'd never have off the shelf solution for drill bit sharpening. My brother is almost as frugal as I am so he will pay half I'm sure. So many bits to sharpen we have....

ahh crap

truth be told ive looked at these on AliExpress...but the shipping was outrageous....i didn't realize they were available at a reasonable price now, There chmw goes spending my money again!
