Nothing says you have to keep the electronics. Replace the spindle motor with a 1.8kW servo that runs on 220VAC. It's not like you have to be able to make 1" deep cuts with a 2" diameter end mill for hobby use.

Not sure what that appendage is on the left in front of the DRO.

That’s the optional R2D2 mounting spindle. Makes a true AI CNC machine. Instead of having to make drawings and write g-code, you just say “R2D2, make a Death Star”

I didn't think it was out of line, a fair bit of tooling with it and they are nice mills. The ones with espresso makers go for more!

My issue that it may be difficult to procure the raw materials for the death star so the R2D2 option is kind of pointless.
