Another Craftex model that I've never seen before. Appears that the head can be pushed/pulled along the Y axis AND rotated? Dinky little table, though. The motor is 3/4 HP and has a date code of 1995. Is this some mutant from the RF-25 lineage?

I'm curious...but not enough to make the 2 hour drive, each way, to go check it out. I believe a certain prodigously-foliculed moderator, however, is a lot closer!

There is also a Toolex lathe in the same auction (lot 424). Looks like a 10X22 or maybe a 12X24?

I'm pretty sure that SOB is curious too. But only a half hour closer..... And not really interested in buying. ;)

You might be able to convince him to meet you there if you need another eyeball to lay on it...... Pretty sure he would buy you lunch and coffee someplace around there too. Just be careful he doesn't shake and shed near your food. o_O

It looks like a clone of the Russian mini mill (can't remember the name, but surely someone remembers it) They are surprisingly rigid, and they don't loose their tram much when moved in Y.

It looks like a dual slide on that and the colum looks fairly ridged judging by the length of the clamping slit.

This was probably a sample machine BB got in and sold off at the garage sale event. I have an odd ball grinder from a sale, good thing we are handy and can make parts.

I thought women just couldn't fart -- that is until I got married.

Ya, I heard that is caused by eating wedding cake. In fact, research has shown that that there is a 1 to 1 correlation at the 99.99942% confidence level between eating wedding cake and all kinds of physical, emotional, and behavioural changes in both genders.

Well...it's sunday and the good wife sometimes reads what I'm looking at over my shoulder so i wont agree or disagree with the theme this thread has evolved too for my own preservation ( she still has a few shells left from her summer shooting program).

Now back to the Mill topic...that machine looks to have so much more versatility to make use of that realistically they should have been adopted instead of my regular post mill-drill design. Many times I have wished for an angle possibility to the head of my machine that Bridgeport style machines are capable of.
I would trade for that machine in a heartbeat.
