As mini lathes go, this looks pretty nice to my eyes. Prolly can get it for 1250.

Mine doesn't have quite all those bits. No fixed steady although that would be easy enough to make. Do have the 4-jaw and 3-jaw and vise. My first lathe bought used many years ago. And still use it for teensy turning.
 
I know the Unimats have a bit of a cult following like the Sherlines and Taigs.
From the tiny bit I've used my Taig I can say that there is something very different about small lathes that is missing in big lathe experience.

....... decent spindle bore, no power feed, threading, power cross feed, morse taper TS, compound, cam lock spindle, the other 9/10 of a horsepower, rapid carriage movement, 100 thou DOCs, quick change gear box, geared headstock.... :D

j/j, I have a lot of small lathes and they are fantastic for work with for small stuff. imo its optimal when the lathe is sized to the job.
