That's where having willing members all over the place come in handy. Even if it cost $2k to ship it could be worth the effort.

The first one went for $4557.63 all in, the second went for $1826.64 but it was also listed as 3ph 208v. Maybe the 3ph scared some off.

I think a good strategy is to look for machines with an odd voltage or 3 phase. 575V 3 phase 2 HP.
