Yep, my equipment handling caps out at 2200lbs.
Mind you, that would be the cheapest part to upgrade...
 
For me it would be how tall is it really? I don't think the speaker cabinet on top of the control cabinet counts.
However it looks like a nice system. For systems with dead controllers there are so many LinuxCNC compatible hardware systems that can work with older motors and encoder types. If it has CNC it's likely it has ball screws too. If I had the space I'd love to take a stab at it but I promised I'd stop at 42 projects.
