Sunday outing in Toronto (27 Oct)

Morning everyone.

If anyone in the GTA is looking for a little outing to try something new, you need to drop by the Scriptus Pen Show. You will truly be amazed at what you’ll see.
As I’ve mentioned before, I found this site while learning the metal lathe to make pens. This is my big show of the year.

It’s at the Toronto Reference Library, 789 Yonge St, Toronto, Ontario.
Sunday 27 October
From 10am to 4pm
Entrance is free.

Please come visit me. I’m on the 2nd floor in the Epic room tables 39 and 40.
Drop by the table and introduce yourself. I’m sure I can cut you a deal. LOL

One of the crappiest locations to have to visit for the majority of GTA residents.

Not a dig at you by any means. Or the organizers, since there are not that many cheap small venues in Toronto. I'd like to go, but the location means a GoTransit and TTC trip on a punctured foot in addition to usual joint pain. I suppose I can drive there faster.

When I was a young adult I used to use a fountain pen all the time so I suppose I will attend

@darrin1200 looks like you have been a busy beaver! Hope the event went well. Wow, that place is packed. Good to see interest in artisan work.

<edited> sorry wrong user reference, corrected now

The pictures do not illustrate just how packed it was, the place was busy. I'm glad that I went because there were about three tables with fellows who hand crafted their own pens and they were all very nice.

@TorontoBuilder It was great meeting you. And thank you for the picture. Unfortunately, or fortunately, I was so busy I never got a chance to take pictures of my own.
It was busy. Everyone is hoping that it will move to a larger venue next year.
@Mcgyver You can see a lot of my work on my website Timberelegancepens.com, except my newest “Comstellation” model. I’ll be getting it up on the site in the next day or two. Here is a couple of pics of it. You’ll have to excuse my photography.
I’m using Nickel-Silver and Phosphor Bronze. I mix my own resin material using Alumilite polyurethane.
