That is a great deal - who said there are no deals in BC? If this was within 100km of Calgary I would drive there right now - $50 CAD buys you next to nothing these days. That lathe with cheap motor is worth 500 easily - after some minor cleanup. Motor is like max 50. So easy $400 saved.

3 of my machines I bought in B.C. 2 of them on Annasis Island, and one in Langley. Long way to drive, but worth it.
