New account, so I can't post a link, but the Ottawa FB Marketplace listing for a HiTorque 5500 (AKA Sieg 2.7) benchtop mill is a scam.
1. Way too good of a price for a brand new mill with loads of tooling. He was willing to take less than $1500
2. Guy wants a deposit before he'll give you his address.
3. The deposit etransfer email is a different name, and from "outlook.fr"
4. His FB account was created this year and has no content.
5. His name and email name have no online presence in Ontario or Quebec.
Huge scam. Don't get got!
