But the rust don't look so bad, would probably be an easy clean up. Assuming it's motor less with the bracket there...

If I was home I'd probably be going to look at it at least.

Under drive model A with a cabinet....

Maybe in the cabinet there is a steady/follow rest

Pretty sad. I’ve seen a couple lathes out in the open over the years. Drive our industrial sections you can see em. Usually the ones out are too big to move easily. That size south bend just hurts.

One thing I know from experience. Alberta rust is a lot easier to remove than east coast rust.
