Who was it that wanted to buy a mill from BC and wanted to ship it to Ontario? My hazy memory apology. This one makes far more sense. With a little cleaning, this would do nicely.

A good clean-up and lubrication will make it more appealing.
If the cutters and vise are included it would be a bargain.
It is used, so there is always some work to get it working.

that was me, I ended up finding a cx605 locally from a friend.

CX605 Eh...... You're going to want these...

yup, already on my list. I'm currently debating the rigid column and larger table kit. I traded some wood working machines for it so I technically haven't put any money into it.

now I would have happily picked up the rf-30 if it was available when @Chicken lights was out there but the timing wasn't right.

this one

I really wouldn't invest too much in that thing..... I out grew mine within a years time. For me the belt conversion was a must as I toasted a gear and BB took 6 months to replace it. The torsion spring update made the machine useable, not great, but useable. When I parted with mine, the motor was starting to act up (full disclosure to the buyer).

I think I'm going to be stuck on this mill for a while so Im willing to invest a little into it for now. I'm not looking to go crazy though, just some things that will make my experience better. I really would like the solid column, the bigger table is just a bonus.

Hey Garrett,
Your CX605 is basically identical to my . . .
King Canada KC-15VS.

I am looking into adding stiffeners to the column and base (Maybe gusset bracing or a mass dampener).
I am designing some mods that are good add-on’s that will not break the bank.
There are a few improvements made and posted on the web in the states for our machines.

there is also a Sieg X2 Facebook group that has a bunch of people doing amazing mods to their machines. I hate Facebook but if I'm already searching marketplace I might as well browse the group.

The Sieg X2 is the original mini mill, mine and @LenVW's are based off of it. they are all made in the same factory in China, including little machine shops versions and the Wen 33013.
