That looks like a darn good deal! The machine appears to be identical to my RF-30 which would make it closer to 600 pounds rather than 500. I presume that is the typical 1.5 HP motor with belt-changed speeds from 120 to 2500 rpm.
Not sure what is up with the funky mounting for the drill press vise, though.

It is kind of like comparing a highway tractor to a grocery getter. Both will transport you from A to B but one can pull 80,000 pounds and the other will fit in a parking space.In comparison to a Bridgeport style vertical knee mill.
