Sweet looking little machine. I'd be willing to gamble on it sight unseen if I was closer and looking.... Hard pressed to find a Chinese round column mill drill for yhat kind of money.... Looks like it was being used where it is, so there's a good chance that some tooling might exist.... Somebody jump on this..... Those that say they are looking for a deal, well, here's one......

At the very worst it is a great looking drill press - but looks like it could work well for milling -

See the instructions attached

My Hartford would divorce me if I tried to bring that home. So would my wife.

Ya @Brent H, it does look like a cross between a beaver drill press and a BP. I think they call that a beaver bridge - not to be confused with a dam.

There was burke similar to that one up for sale around the time I bought my Excello.

It was a bit older and had a B&S spindle taper and they called it a "light miller and jig borer". Had some neat vernier scales on the X and Y like a proto-DRO. I was attracted by the size but having had a B&S taper mill before I didn't really want to deal with that.

This thing looks better, like a baby step pulley bridgeport.

A. Check the X and Y, for travel smoothness.
B. Get an arbour that fits the spindle and confirm the tightness in the bearings..
C. The motor probably needs some attention like brushes and rewinding.

Buyer beware when it comes to used equipment.
I have never heard of the brand, but, for $500 you can put some more into it.

deep dive says the first two digits of the serial number are the year of manufacture, so this one is 1963. According to the manual I found online, the quill should be a collet chuck on a #9 B&S taper. Still would be on a trailer if I could…
