These are a premium lathe; the great mystery imo is where are all the collets and bits and pieces go. The stuff that make the thing of any use? I mean, no one bought a lathe like this and didn't also buy at least a reasonable collection of collets with it. Its a problem worse than single socks, things just disappear into the ether!

There was one listed recently in Winnipeg for 500 or something quite recently, I wonder if its the same one as the sellers profile says he's from Winnipeg? Then again I think it had a slide rest, this one doesn't.

No collets or slide rest or anything else? Good luck!

Ye unless it comes with a lot of tooling and goodies I think they are a bit optimistic lol. As I've seen some nice watch maker lathes on eBay for cheaper with all kinds of goodies.
