Picked it up today. It seems to work fine but it needs a bit of attention and a few adjustments. Maybe even paint. Paint makes things run soooo much better. Tried it out while still in the trailer and I’m very happy with how it performed. Really is heavy, solid and well built. The quick vise in novel (well to me) and works great. Not sure if I’ll keep it. I have a small Busy Bee metal band saw and space is tight - but it is really nice.

Here’s a couple of more pics. I tried it on a piece of 5/8” round bar. Runs very smoothly. I think a pull down spring or hanging weights are missing in action

I bought a Kwik-Kut at auction 2 months ago, came with a super cheap quality tile saw and a unrepairable generator for $26.

But your seems much better build quality. Mine needs a rebuild.

I think $100 is a good deal.

They are cool to watch, so much more visually interesting than a band saw. They also don't tend to have the same blade wear issues as a bandsaw, since the blade is evenly loaded at all times.

Yes - my small Busy Bee band saw is faster but doesn’t do a straight cut very well. This looks like a big improvement on straightness. Also less likely to bind up. So slow is ok - just let it go and do something else.

Thanks Trivn. Been busy and haven’t had time yet to do some research on it. That’s a good start.

That sure would look good in the corner of my shop and you scooped it up for less than a C-Note, call me jealous!

My Project 42D is cobbling up something kinda like that using an old treadmill motor.
