Hi all. I have an interest in old british and american motorcycles. I've always wanted to do metal work as I was an engine builder for Detroit Diesel in the past. It would also help me make tools and parts for my bikes and others'. I know I have a steep learning curve ahead but I'm also retiring soon so will have lots of time. Thanks in advance for the tips and will explore the forums in the coming months.

Hahahaha! We all said that. A guy with your talents and interests will NEVER have lots of time.

There is this time sucking creature among us who will eat most of it. It's called a SWMBO.

Then we have our members whose reason for living is to generate tool lust in your heart.

Then there is the insatiable need to make tools for your tools.

Oh, I almost forgot - welcome from Ontario Farm Country.
