Wow, where are they getting these things from - do they farm them or something? I mean this one looks like it just left the factory.

yeah, I like them when they are that clean.....suggests a meticulous owner who wouldn't have pushed it or abused it and would have oiled it with every use.

if I was buying (can't no room and still have a Schaublin 102 to squeeze in, hopefully this week while the wife is away hehe), I'd chase one like that as high as you have to. It'll be several times the lathe compared to anything new and in the long run be a lot cheaper than a beater without tooling.

@YYCHM : "Located in basement shop :rolleyes:needs to dismantled and taken out buyer responsible for this:eek: . Bring help and tools, pick up times for this item only is flexible. Call if wanting a different pick up time then saturday."

Several accessories with it seem to unused and in the original boxes: 4-jaw chuck, 2nd 3-jaw chuck, milling attachment, face plate, drive plate, and what I believe is a taper attachment.

OTOH, I didn't spot steady or follow rests.

Interesting to see where this one finishes...

Myford is a light lathe - this is not an issue at all - you can easily move it into a basement and out with a friend.

You need two wrenches to remove bolts - takes maybe 10min and about 10min more to load onto your truck.

Not a big deal. It would be very difficult to move solo unless you are very, very strong and don't mind cumbersome items. But with a buddy - like I said 20min. Max 30 if you want to secure it on your truck.

On most online auctions you place your bid then you can place a hidden maximum bid that your willing to go to. Next person has to top your hidden bid to become the buyer
