Looks like the tailstock taper was put in backwards.

For all the rust, It'll clean up pretty well, IMO.

If it has more than is obvious in the photos (steady and follow rest, gears) it's a steal at that.

Consider this. If ten percent of the surface has been pitted away (a gross overestimation of it's current state!), it still has 90 percent of it's original surface to run on. Plus oil retention! (LOL!).

Buy worn out or abused Quality, or buy Pre-Worn-Out Brand New, for more!
